You may know that we’re passionate about a few things here at Pink Tool Belts, breast cancer awareness and building homes for women in Kenya are among a few of those things, but we’re also very passionate about connecting with and giving back to local communities. And since the Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival on the California Central Coast (home to our headquarters) was this past weekend, you bet we were there.
The truth is that we love getting out into local communities, meeting new people, and hearing about their passions. And as we posted to our Facebook and Twitter pages the past few days, we met some great new friends. So great, that we’d like to introduce them to you.

Meet our new auto mechanic friend. Initially drawn to our booth by coveralls designed by Rosie’s Workwear (a biz partner also headquartered on the Central Coast that makes products for women to “work and play in comfort and style”), she also walked away with a Pink Tool Bag, Pink Safety Sunglasses, and Pink Work Gloves. She’s ready to get to work.

One of our biggest fans of the day stuck the Pink Tool Belts decal on the back of her pink phone. We thought that was just a great idea!

A few of our male visitors proved not to be afraid of a little pink. They weren’t shy at all about putting on their new pink gear. One of the gentlemen purchased three Pink Hard Hats to give to his guy friends who will be walking in a Susan G. Komen race coming up. Love it!

A local gardening friend tried out the Pink Work Gloves in the “try-it-you-might-like-it garden” area of our booth. She must have liked what she tried – she bought a pair.
Just as we expected, we had a great time meeting new friends and learning about their passions, skills, work, and hobbies – and how they would use their new Pink Tool Belts products.

And because we really like giving, we raffled off a pair of Pink Work Gloves every hour on the hour. Turns out, people like getting free stuff! (Subscribe to our newsletter for your chance to win free stuff!)
Good work,
The Pink Tool Belts Team
